The Director Insurance Investment Accounting Role At a Glance Accounting & Reporting: Oversee accounting and reporting for investment holdings, including monthly, quarterly, and annual filings. Leadership: Manage and review work of direct reports. Analyze data and review JEs. GAAP and STAT: Perform GAAP and Statutory analysis for various financial instruments, ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Serve as liaison: With 3rd Party and internal teams to ensure accurate transaction processing and reporting. Daily: Oversee daily cash activity and monthly reconciliations across custodians and subledgers. Process Improvement: Identify process improvements and automation opportunities. Technical: Maintain internal controls and support audits. Additional duties: Assigned.
