Summary:
Greets, instructs, directs, and schedules patients and visitors. Serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff. Establish and maintain a positive attitude with patients and fellow employees by helping each other in areas when needed. Demonstrates knowledge of the age-specific competencies and the skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age and demographic served. Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, employees and the public. Ability to perform administrative and clinical functions in the medical practice setting.
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years medical office experience. Ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of medical terminology, word processing and medical office experience preferred. Some experience with electronic medical records preferred.
