The primary responsibility of this position is to support complex engagements related to dispute resolution with technical support and analysis. This position requires the ability to understand, interpret, and analyze environmental data primarily related to site investigations and remediation. Projects typically involve Superfund sites. The individual must possess the ability to work on multi-disciplinary teams (staffed by geologists, engineers, scientists, historians, etc.) and multiple projects concurrently. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet critical client deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience with site investigation and remediation processes.Potentially relevant experience includes a broad range of topics, such as:Understanding environmental statutes and regulations, with an emphasis on CERCLA and the National Contingency PlanHazardous waste storage management, disposal requirementsContaminant fate and transport in the environmentInvestigation and remediation of contaminated sitesEnvironmental sample collection and laboratory data interpretationTechnical report interpretation and analysis, including work plans, sampling plans, quality assurance plans, and completion reportsEnvironmental cost analysisDatabase managementData analysis and QA/QCGeographic information systems information interpretationTechnical literature researchWhat You’ll DoPrimary Duties:Analyze and interpret technical reports and environmental sampling data related to the investigation and remediation of contaminated sitesDevelop tables, figures, and reports summarizing findingsAssist in the development of data repositories containing environmental sampling analytical resultsReview, compile, organize, and manage large volumes of environmental reports and related recordsQA/QC of work productPerform technical and scientific research including analysis and interpretation of historical records, expert advocacy, technical reports, and scientific literature and studiesHow You’ll GrowWe are committed to investing and supporting you in your professional development and we have developed a range of programs focused on fostering leadership, growth and development opportunities.
