MUST:
1+year of experience performing OBGYN exams
Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and related technology and performing OBGYN and GYN ultrasounds scans
Performing biophysical profiles
Checking fetus size, follicles and endometrial lining
Documenting findings
Maintaining and updating patient records
Preparing patients for exams
OB certification through RDMS or AART certification

DUTIES:
The duties of the OBGYN sonographer include but are not limited to the following:
Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including obstetric, gynecologic, and abdominal scans.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition.
Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions.
Capture high-quality images and ensure accurate documentation of findings.
Collaborate with physicians to interpret ultrasound results.
