VP, YouTube/Google Ads

We are seeking for someone experienced and motivated specializing in Google Ads for YouTube. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through client acquisition, relationship management, and delivering customized YouTube ad solutions that meet client goals. The ideal candidate will excel in sales strategy, client engagement, and have a proven track record in digital ad sales, particularly in selling to agencies and direct brands. They will work closely with the Ad Operations & Compliance Specialist to ensure that campaigns are executed flawlessly and compliant with all relevant standards.
Core Functions
1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Building
- Identify, prospect, and secure new clients, with a focus on building relationships with advertising agencies and direct brands interested in YouTube advertising solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their advertising needs and objectives to deliver tailored YouTube ad solutions.
- Conduct client presentations and proposal pitches, emphasizing the value and impact of YouTube ads for brand reach and engagement.
2. Sales Strategy and Campaign Development
- Develop sales strategies focused on maximizing client reach and engagement through YouTube’s ad products.
- Collaborate with clients, including agency partners and brand marketers, to design, implement, and adjust ad campaigns to optimize performance and meet KPIs.
- Use market insights and client feedback to refine sales approaches and propose new ad offerings.
3. Revenue and Target Management
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor campaign performance in collaboration with the Ad Operations team, identifying opportunities to upsell and enhance client campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue metrics.
4. Collaboration with Ad Operations
- Work closely with the Ad Operations & Compliance Specialist to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and adherence to licensing standards.
- Coordinate campaign requirements with operations, providing detailed client needs and campaign specifications for successful delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in digital ad sales, with specific experience in selling YouTube or Google Ads to advertising agencies and direct brands.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities with a client portfolio that includes agencies and brand marketers.
- Proficient in Google Ads, YouTube advertising solutions, and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
