Shift: 1st

What’s a typical day as a Solderer? You’ll be:
• Producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Using hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
• Preparing and soldering all levels of electronic components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) according to specifications.
• Performing all levels of SMT and thru hole hand component soldering to IPC standards.
• Conducting quality control checks.
• Reading and following the green book guide for assembly instructions.
• Working with leaded and lead-free solder.
• Cleaning and maintaining work area and tools.
• Utilizing electrical and manual tools such as soldering iron, de-soldering equipment, and solder removal tools.
• Reworking, repairing, and modifying printed circuit boards and/or assemblies to required specifications.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assembling components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies.
• Meeting daily production goals.
