Staff Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend) – Time Off Products We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Time Off Products team, leading a team of engineers to build critical products that empower companies to manage their workforce globally. About the Role As a staff engineer, you will define and build scalable, auditable systems for Time Off products, collaborate with product, data infrastructure, and engineering teams, and help shape the company's technical vision. What You'll Do Build & Innovate: Write scalable code while driving the architecture of our most critical products. Set the Bar for Engineering Excellence: Set standards for high-quality software, ensuring rapid delivery without sacrificing reliability and security. Lead Design & Architecture: Own technical design of new features, aligning with long‑term company goals. Mentor & Elevate the Team: Guide junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Drive Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers and other teams to refine the product roadmap. What You'll Need Experience: Minimum 7 years in backend engineering with Python, Django or similar, building production‑grade systems. Deep Technical Expertise: Strong computer science fundamentals, experienced in designing & optimizing large‑scale systems. Product‑Oriented Mindset: Care about product, user experience and design; spot opportunities for improvement. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Thrive in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments, driving impactful solutions. Leadership: Lead technical discussions, build scalable systems, mentor, and elevate the team.
