Staff Software Engineer Finvari is a fast‑growing SaaS startup transforming the way construction companies handle payments. Our mission is to eliminate manual, repetitive payment tasks, empowering construction leaders to focus on building the infrastructure of tomorrow. Base pay range $220,000 – $245,000 per year, plus equity. Overview We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to contribute to the front‑end and full‑stack of our application, to imagine, design and build new features and products for our customers. Our tech stack includes React web front‑end and React‑Native mobile, with a serverless GCP (Node.js / Typescript) backend. Responsibilities Build delightful and innovative software that makes it easier for our customers to manage finance and accounting tasks. Invent best‑in‑industry tools while working side‑by‑side with our customers, a team of engineers and business folks. Write scalable software that helps us efficiently handle the large volumes of data on our platform. Minimum Qualifications Self‑motivated and enthusiastic about building great software. 8+ years of experience in software engineering. 3+ years of experience with React and/or React‑Native. Strong command of HTML/CSS. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience). Expert knowledge of a statically typed language (ideally Java or Typescript). Work in the Seattle office at least once per week. Preferred (not required) Familiarity with accounting concepts. Experience with Google Cloud Platform. Background in fintech and/or payment processing.
