- 1-2 years' experience as a line cook or prep cook; fine dining experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and most holidays
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- Possess strong knife skills and be able to operate basic kitchen equipment
- Communicates effectively
- California Food Handler's Card or ability to get one within 30 days of employment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours in a day
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, and raise arms above head on occasion
- MUST be available to work evenings
