Join the prestigious University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) Anesthesiology Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). In this role, you will administer anesthesia, provide patient assessments, and collaborate on anesthesia care plans. Your role requires cognitive, technical, and administrative skills to deliver exceptional care, ensuring patient safety, privacy, and adherence to confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities:

- Administer anesthesia as per the defined scope of practice.

- Assess patients and assist in developing anesthesia care plans.

- Demonstrate excellence, caring, safety, and cooperation in all patient interactions.

- Maintain awareness of patient rights and confidentiality policies.

- Assist in OR teaching of medical students and SRNA students.

 

Education Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in a healthcare field.

- Masters degree in Anesthesiology from an accredited program.

 

Experience:

- 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.

- New graduates are welcomed and encouraged to apply.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive salary

Highlights:

- Diverse variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, gynecology, vascular, orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, urology, neurosurgery, and NORA.

- No hearts and rare OB cases.

- Opportunity to join the pediatric APP team if interested and experienced with pediatric anesthesia.

- No weekday overnight call; weekend call coverage in the ORs with residents covering OB.
