Responsibilities:
  • Under supervision, installs a variety of package parts.
  • May measure and inspect tubes using various precision measuring instruments.
  • Uses basic math calculations to determine whether tube meets specification limits.
  • Carry out routine work assignments.
Qualifications:
  • Leak checks on various tubes to confirm tube is leak tight.
  • Installs various assemblies and parts on tubes using basic hand tools and fastening devices.
  • Performs potting operations on various tube types using RTV potting compounds along with potting fixture.
  • Basic soldering of wires, wire connectors on sub-assemblies.
  • Sandblast various tube types and assemblies.
  • Soldering and welding on various tube assemblies.
  • Carry out routine work assignments with minimum amount of supervision.
  • Maintain safe work practices (per Facility Safety Policies).
  • Maintain area in clean and orderly manner.
