Proactively identify and handle project risks and issues, and implement contingency plans as needed. Accountable for ensuring the delivery of the customers’ business objectives and project deliverables. This includes understanding how the project’s technical implementation impacts the customer’s overarching strategic goals. Build strong relationships with project sponsors and team members and maintain these relationships through executing project governance practices including regular status updates. Ensure that all projects adhere established best practices and are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Establish and maintain relationships with key tactical leaders and business implementation leads. Contributes to providing direction and guidance for process improvements and internal policies. Represent the organization to external customers/clients. Requirements: Five or more years of experience in a Project Management role coordinating Software implementation projects. Solid understanding of PM principles, such as those promoted by the Project Management Institute, including demonstrated experience with a standard PM Tool Kit such as scheduling, budget control, and risk management. Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering, science, or business subject area. Exemplary verbal/written communication skills required. PMP certification preferred. Resilience to dynamic, changing environment where priorities change rapidly and willingness to respond quickly to customers and leadership needs. Proactive personality ready to step in and find solutions to project issues and escalations.
