YOUR DAY
This kitchen position generally works 7 - 8 hour shifts, but that can vary.
You create delicious desserts and premium offerings for our valued members. Leaving a lasting impression, you're responsible for promptly and efficiently preparing orders and delivering quality meals during special events. You coordinate with our manager and assist with event functions as needed, performing tasks like setting up stations and breaking them down.
You keep your kitchen work area clean and encourage your team to work together to provide seamless dining experiences. Eager to grow your culinary knowledge, you attend meetings and actively participate in training opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of baking experience
- Ability to work multiple kitchen stations and perform intermediate cooking tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical requirements
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Founded in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of the oldest existing clubs in Texas and home to Harvey Penick, one of the greatest golf instructors who ever lived. As a private, family-oriented club that is rich in tradition, we are known for the quality of our membership and unmatched customer service that exceeds expectations. We are located along the banks of the Colorado River with Austin's iconic Pennybacker Bridge as our backdrop. Spanning over 180 acres of hill country vistas and canyon views in Davenport Ranch, our property is just 10 miles west of downtown Austin.
