LOCATION The national office is located in Rockville, Maryland and has over 90 affiliated chapters throughout the U.S. and Canada. ABOUT THE POSITION The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented producer to join our team. This role brings ideas to life—supporting the planning, coordination, and on‑site execution of our professional conferences, training events, and conventions. This role requires someone who can think strategically while effectively managing day‑to‑day operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high‑quality live experiences that inspire and engage industry professionals. Location: Rockville, MD, Hybrid Opportunity after 60 days Reports to: Executive Director, Communications Position Type: Full‑Time, Exempt REQUIRED SKILLS Advanced PowerPoint and Keynote design skills; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills with a sharp eye for detail. Comfort managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Ability to travel for events and work flexible hours during peak production periods. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in communications, media production, marketing, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience. 3–5 years of experience in live event production, conference planning, or corporate media. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Event Production Management Oversee production logistics for live, in‑person conferences and special events. Coordinate schedules, technical rehearsals, and production timelines with internal teams, AV vendors, and venue staff. Manage day‑of‑show operations, ensuring sessions and general events run smoothly and on schedule. Presentation Design & Visual Storytelling Design and produce visually compelling PowerPoint and Keynote presentations for use in general sessions, workshops, and special programs. Collaborate with speakers, trainers, and executives to elevate presentation quality through consistent branding and strong visual communication. Vendor & Partner Coordination Serve as the main point of contact for production vendors, AV teams, and freelance designers. Manage deliverables, contracts, and schedules to ensure production goals are met on time and within budget. Pre-Production & Meeting Support Schedule and facilitate pre-production meetings, technical checks, and rehearsals with presenters and production partners. Track deadlines, session materials, and production assets using project management tools such as Monday.com or Teams. On‑Site Execution Travel to conferences and events (typically 5‑7 per year) to oversee live production setup, cue calling, and speaker support. Ensure brand consistency, seamless transitions, and professional polish across all event visuals and staging. #J-18808-Ljbffr
