Overall Job Summary

This position is responsible for bringing the brand to life through engaging social content. This position will help to manage the social content calendar and create and post content across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok. This position will also be the voice of Tractor Supply's social media channels in a way that is timely, authentic, personable and in line with the company's legendary customer service standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

  • Build paid social media ad campaigns in partnership with the social agency including writing ad copy, coordinating ad creative, and reporting on performance
  • Develop organic social content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and Tik Tok - manage monthly content calendar planning, creative content development, scheduling of posts in the Sprinklr platform, and reporting against KPIs.
  • Concept, execute and build out social media contests and promotions.
  • Identify KPIs, analyze social data, and apply learnings to future content strategy
  • Own the voice of TSC's social media moderation, monitor TSC social media channels, and partner with the Customer Solutions Center on customer responses.
  • Monitor relevant social media channels on a daily basis for brand mentions, trends, content opportunities, or conflicts
  • Provide insights and reporting for social crisis situations in accordance with crisis guidelines
  • Act as an administrator for the Sprinklr social platform
  • Evaluate key social media analytics including engagement, message volume, response time, and others to ensure brand is aligned with industry benchmarks and meeting KPIs
Required Qualifications

Experience: 3 years of experience working in social media for a large brand or agency. Strong understanding of social media landscape including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tik Tok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
  • Creative writer with exceptional storytelling skills and ability to develop TSC's online brand identity and voice
  • Clear understanding of social performance metrics and KPIs with knowledge of analytics and reporting tools like Facebook Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment.
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge and thorough understanding of the principles of marketing, advertising, promotional and digital content.
  • Must be skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with marketing platforms such as Sprinklr, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Spark), Canva, Wyng, and Kenshoo are a plus.
  • Exceptional initiative and follow-through with an eagerness to collaborate across all TSC departments
  • Retail and/or customer service experience a plus
