OverviewSupermicro is looking for a highly experienced Sr. Account Manager to sell Supermicro's broad portfolio of server solutions and expand the Federal Government sector, with a focus on AI/ML, Storage, and Enterprise Infrastructure. The candidate will be a strategic hunter, skilled at identifying and securing new opportunities within Federal agencies and government-related organizations including Federal Systems Integrators and Resellers.ResponsibilitiesDevelop net new customers in targeted verticals and industriesHunt, qualify and close new opportunities; create target lists for target marketsDevelop relationships, communicate product and market informationDevelop superior relationships with prospectsConsistently achieve leads and quotasProduce reports as necessaryQualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, engineering or similar fields preferred4+ years of sales experience preferably selling server and storage offeringsTrack record of sales to Federal Agencies (Civilian, DoD, Intel) is preferredUnderstanding of the Government IT acquisition process.Solid understanding of the partner ecosystem that exists within the Federal Government including Federal Systems Integrators and Resellers.Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines; demonstrated communication skills-written, verbal and presentation skillsExperience tracking and reporting data on lead activityMulti-task and time management skills are essentialWillingness to TravelUS CitizenSalary Range$105,000- $118,000EEO StatementSupermicro is an Equal Opportunity Employer and embraces diversity in our employee population.
