We are representing our client, a large entertainment studio, in hiring a new VP Finance.Reporting to the Divisional CFO of Corporate Function, the VP of Finance is accountable for the financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the Corporate Functions.Responsibilities include:Lead the preparation and consolidation of the annual Budget, Mid Range Plan (MRP), and Forecast processes with primary focus on providing financial analysis and insightsTrack performance relative to budgets and forecasts, review actual results and concisely explain variances against budgets and forecasts based on commercial and operating driversPrepare timely and accurate monthly/quarterly financial results presentations that provide important insights and participate in executive review meetingsDevelop and optimize reports that provide actionable insight into the levers of the businessSupport management with ad hoc financial, market, and trend analyses to prioritize strategic initiatives or investment decisionsDevelop and manage team members including establishing priorities, setting objectives, and providing guidance and feedbackManage expenses and key business metrics across centrally held costsDevelop and streamline FP&A processes to mitigate risk and find value within the businessQualifications:10 years of relevant professional experience including corporate finance, consulting, or similar analytical role5 years of management experience, including managing, developing and leading a teamBachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; Master’s degree and/or MBA preferredExceptional financial modeling skills in Excel, including the ability to drive process optimization using ExcelExperience designing and executing Finance-related transformationIntermediate to advanced skills in SAPAn agile learner with a highly analytical mindset, strong technical finance skills, and solid business acumenChange agent adept at successfully challenging the status quoExcellent communication and influencing skills across a variety of stakeholders such as peer teams, non-finance teams, and executive managementCommunication includes verbal (in-person & virtual), written (memos and emails), and presentationsSAP, Advanced Excel & other Office Suite, Tableau/SAC #J-18808-Ljbffr
