The Interim HealthCare Regional Management Center (RMC) is offering an exciting opportunity to an energetic and talented Staff Accountant. Interim HealthCare has been a leader in the home healthcare and hospice industry providing valued services spanning five states since the 1970’s. Job Duties:

  • Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, financial statements, and general analysis
  • Provides clear and effective explanation to end user financial questions 
  • Prepares bank and general ledger account reconciliations
  • Assists treasury with daily transactions, transfers and trouble shooting
  • Provides value in a collaborative team environment 
  • Identifies and communicate opportunities for improved efficiency or processes 
  • Accurately prepares intercompany and affiliated company reconciliations
  • Embraces a willingness to learn, participates in educational opportunities and assists with cross training to facilitate ongoing professional growth
  • Assists with the annual audit and team members as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Zero to three years of related Staff Accountant experience (public or industry)
  • Effective variance analysis. Ability to identify, research and communicate results 
  • Strong organizational skills and recognition when priorities require adjustment
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to be proactive and seek learning opportunities 
  • High integrity and strong core ethical foundation
  • Excellent judgement and resourcefulness
  • Solid understanding of proper accounting procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required with moderate Excel abilities
