Schedule 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM Job Description Join a dedicated team in an Inpatient Surgery unit with a diverse patient demographic. This unit handles a variety of post-operative patients and is well-equipped to manage complex medical and surgical needs. The environment is fast-paced, requiring adaptability and efficient time management. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive post-operative care to patients. Administer medications and manage IVs, including pain management and heparin drips. Perform dressing changes, wound vac management, and assess pain levels regularly. Monitor patient vitals and document care using EPIC software. Assist with procedures related to urology, neurology, bariatric and orthopedic surgeries. Coordinate with nursing assistants to support patient needs effectively. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current state nursing license required. BLS certification mandatory. Experience in post-operative or medical/surgical nursing preferred. Familiarity with MASIMO monitoring and EPIC documentation is beneficial. Why ARMStaffing?
