Job Description
The Inpatient Surgery Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients in a fast-paced environment, focusing on post-operative recovery and management of various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

Administer pain medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and pain levels.
Manage dressings, drains, and other post-operative care needs.
Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Document patient care activities accurately in EPIC.
Support nursing assistants and provide guidance as necessary.


Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current BLS certification.
Licensed registered nurse with experience in inpatient surgical care.
Familiarity with MASIMO monitoring, dressings changes, and related medical equipment preferred.
