Role Summary

Rowe Price is seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative leader to oversee a Global team of highly experienced PR professionals.

The Global Head of Public Relations (PR) is a seasoned, mission-driven communicator responsible for leading, developing, and implementing PR strategy across T. Rowe Price’s global footprint, across all investment and retirement marketing initiatives and spanning all business segments.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, develop, and implement PR strategy in support of enterprise marketing programs across all US distribution segments.
  2. Support segment-specific initiatives in collaboration with respective segment PR managers.
  3. Develop a deep understanding of enterprise and segment strategies.
  4. Evolve the role PR plays in the overall marketing strategy.
  5. Partner with other leaders to ensure effective promotion of offerings and distribution of key messages through earned media.
  6. Strategically lead a team of PR associates and managers across multiple geographic locations.
  7. Manage day-to-day operations of PR resources and agency partners.
  8. Ensure efficient communication and collaboration between PR resources and internal teams.
  9. Measure and report on outcomes to key stakeholders across the firm.
  10. Lead proactive media relations programs to garner positive media coverage.
  11. Build and maintain relationships with top-tier media outlets.
Qualifications:

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  2. 12+ years of total relevant work experience and 5+ years of management experience.

Preferred:

  1. 10+ years in public relations, including solid national and trade media relations experience.
  2. 5+ years of public relations experience specific to the financial services/investment management industry.
  3. Established relationships with national and trade media covering investments and personal finance.
  4. Experience managing and leading global teams.
  5. MBA.
  6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online media contact databases.
Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
