This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a diverse IT skillset across helpdesk support, infrastructure, security, applications, while working directly with end users across our enterprise.The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, technically curious, and excited to grow their career in a supportive environment where they'll gain hands-on experience across multiple IT domains and systems.About The Role – You WillProvide first and second-line technical support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and basic network issuesSupport various infrastructure, security, and application processes with guidance from senior team members while developing expertise across all IT domains.Perform basic system upgrades, patches, and software installationsSet up new user workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals for clientsAssist with user onboarding and basic technology trainingAssist with Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online supportAssist in managing and supporting client IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and desktopsAssist with user access management and password resets across client environmentsHelp maintain antivirus and security software deploymentsAssist with software patching and security updatesPerform basic monitoring of systems and manage alertsHelp ensure client systems align with security best practicesCreate and manage user accounts, mailboxes, and permissionsCreate client-facing user guides and documentationContribute to improving service delivery efficiencySupport as remote hands for local datacenter for any move, add, changesSupport IT projects as assignedAbout Our GroupAs strategic partners, the Information Technology team strives to ensure that our values, culture, and engagement always allow us to do great things for our company.We strive to provide the highest-level service and support to our clients daily.We work collaboratively to build strong relationships with our clients, partners, and own team.We treat each other with respect……and always try to have a little fun every dayYou will report to the and collaborate with other IT team members located in Greer SC and in Burlingame, CA.Your Experience1-3 years of IT experience (internships, help desk, or personal projects count)Must have excellent customer service skills.Must demonstrate high attention to detail in all work concepts such as ticket entries, emails, and IT documentation.EducationAssociate degree or Bachelors in IT, Computer Science, or related fieldStrong interest in pursuing a career in ITDesirable CertificationsYou Might Also Have:CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)Windows Server Administration FundamentalsMCSA, 2012, 2016, 2019Mobility and Devices FundamentalsMCSE: Core InfrastructureBasic understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, with exposure to Linux concepts).Fundamental troubleshooting skills for common hardware, software, and basic networking issues.Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, understanding of what VPNs do).Exposure to server environments (awareness of Windows Server and Linux server concepts).Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Office 365, with basic awareness of AWS and Microsoft Azure.Basic understanding of virtualization concepts (awareness of VMware, Hyper-V as technologies).Designed and assembled in the United States, Proterra’s innovative battery platform offers industry-leading energy density, durability, performance and safety systems – enabling Proterra EV batteries to be the premium choice for commercial vehicles and industrial equipment.Proterra’s battery technology offers industry-leading energy density, safety systems, and durability.
