**Full-Time Restaurant Cook - $500 Signing Bonus**

Buehlers Cooks prepare food for our customers eating in our restaurants. We have loyal customers that join us for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we love to make each meal a great experience for that customer. Our Food Service teammates love to prepare and serve food while following established food production programs and procedures.

**A typical day for a Restaurant Cook may include:**

* Operate the grill, fryers and related equipment

* Set-up, organize, and prepare food using established production procedures and systems

* Comply with sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards, and housekeeping to keep the work area clean

* Observe proper food handling techniques

* Store food properly and safely, mark the date and item.

* Assist foodservice team with any food preparation that needs completed

**Our legal team wants you to know whats required for this role:**

* Attained at least 18 years of age; or if age 16-17 cannot operate any equipment (slicer, buffalo chopper, etc.)

* Able to meet the requirements to occasionally stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50# and occasionally 80#

* Manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures; and can do simple math problems

* Able to work within our deli/kitchen environment that includes equipment such as an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer and chefs knivesso frequently you will be exposed to heat, steam, fire and noise

**Extra Awesome:**

* Line Cook experience, but not required. We are always excited to train a new teammate

**$500 Signing Bonus -** The successful candidate must remain in this position for 6 months to be eligible for the signing bonus.

**Additional position details:**

* Non-Exempt Hourly position

* Must be available to be scheduled 35+hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
