Licensing & Commercial Contract DirectorMedical Services of America seeks a Full‑Time Licensing & Commercial Contract Director for its Corporate office in Lexington, SC.Base pay: $70,000–$90,000/yr. Salary varies with experience.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers/payors.Identify opportunities and coordinate execution, implementation, and renewal of payor contracts.Meet face‑to‑face (as required) with payors to secure maximum rates.Review existing payor contracts, identify opportunities, and obtain increases as appropriate.Review and coordinate company operating licenses for operation.Ensure all licenses are up to date and renewed timely.Oversee operations of the Managed Care and Licensing staff.Collaborate with interdepartmental resources to ensure compliance and efficiencies.Meet with Corporate Executives regularly to determine and execute contracting/departmental needs.Ensure departmental information is current and stored accurately.Ensure contracts comply within proper legal directives and reimbursement processes.Maintain exemplary customer service and relationships with payors and company staff/agencies.Act as liaison between billing and collections teams to address and resolve issues.Establish and maintain collaborative teamwork environment.Ensure productivity goals are met to support the organization’s overall goals and objectives.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as directed/needed.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.Minimum of 5 years managed care, contracting, credentialing, or licensing experience strongly preferred.Knowledge of healthcare products and services preferred.Previous supervisory and management experience preferred.BenefitsGenerous paid time offMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance (STD, LTD, Accident & Life, etc.)Company paid employee life insurance401(k) retirement with generous company matchOpportunities for advancementMany other great benefitsEqual OpportunityMedical Services of America is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
