Job Summary:
The Front Load Driver will be responsible for operating a front load truck to collect, transport, and dispose of waste from commercial and residential customers. This position requires a valid CDL A or B license, with a preference for candidates who have prior experience in waste collection or driving similar heavy vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Operate Front Load Truck: Safely and efficiently operate a front load truck to perform waste collection services along assigned routes.
  • Load and Unload Containers: Pick up and empty waste containers using hydraulic lifting mechanisms and ensure that containers are properly secured after service.
  • Conduct Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working order before and after each shift.
  • Route Management: Follow assigned routes and schedules, adapting to changes or delays to ensure timely service.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues related to waste collection services.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including company policies and local traffic laws, to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Maintenance Reporting: Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs to the operations manager and arrange for necessary maintenance.

Qualifications:


  • Licenses: Valid CDL A or B license required.
  • Experience: Preferably 1-2 years of experience driving front load trucks or similar heavy vehicles.

Skills:


  • Strong attention to safety and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and maneuvering heavy containers.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with the local road network and traffic laws.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle the physical demands of the job.
