Job Description

The Asset Protection & Security team is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Walmart associates, customers, and assets. The role involves possessing knowledge of asset protection policies, practices, and guidelines, as well as environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports facility security staff in maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Monitors and maintains access control equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Accesses organizational resources to address business-specific health and safety hazards.
  • Conducts compliance, safety, and food safety audits and reviews.
Partnership & Collaboration:
  • Owns the delivery of project activity and tasks assigned by others.
  • Solves simple business issues and demonstrates functional knowledge of the business unit/organization being supported.
Requirements:
  • 6 months experience as a Walmart associate or 1 year's work experience in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office Suite; SharePoint and OneDrive; Work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field.

To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
