Title : Family Nurse Practitioner - Paragon Infusion Centers Location: TX-EL PASO, 6000 NORTHERN PASS DR, BLDG D STE C. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of 6000 NORTHERN PASS DR, BLDG D STE C El Paso, TX. Build the Possibilities. Make an Extraordinary Impact. The Family Nurse Practitioner - Paragon Infusion Centers is responsible for patient care within his/her scope of practice in the clinical setting. How you will make an impact: Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: * Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures. * Completes admission process as directed by Center Director. * Performs physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis. * Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed. * Documents all pertinent data in the patient's medical record. * Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and is responsible for the follow up on any problem which is identified. * Communicates effectively with other members of the IV team on patient status and observations. * Maintains patient confidentiality at all times by abiding by HIPAA laws and regulations. * Evaluates the patient's response to therapy and documents this finding in the medical record. * Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan. * Participates in the Quality Improvement program. * Ensures that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate and up to date prior to treatment. * Participates in On-Call program, which may include after-hours, weekend and holiday calls and visitations. * Provides clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and may also support new market launches. Minimum Requirements: * Requires an MS in Nursing and minimum of 2 years of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioner; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Minimum of 1 year experience with IVs required. * Current, active, valid and unrestricted NP license to practice as a healthcare professional within the scope of license in applicable state required in applicable state required. * Requires active, current and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification. * Multi-state licensure is required if this individual is providing services in multiple states. * Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: * May require extensive travel to worksite and other locations as necessary. * Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience with IVs strongly preferred.
