Our client is looking for a Senior Manager of Transaction Accounting to join our growing global accounting team. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-impact transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and strategic investments. You’ll partner closely with leadership across Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Corporate Finance to ensure technical accuracy, operational excellence, and insightful analysis of key business initiatives. This position is ideal for a public accounting professional (Big 4 or advisory) who thrives on technical challenges, wants exposure to M&A and investment activity, and is looking for a long-term growth path within a collaborative corporate environment. Responsibilities Lead the accounting analysis and technical evaluation for complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, capital commitments, and joint ventures Research and document accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, including preparation of technical memos Collaborate with teams across Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Development Finance to ensure proper reporting and disclosures Support the quarterly and annual close process with a focus on transaction-related areas and fair value assessments Manage relationships with external auditors and external valuation specialists Review and guide the accounting implications of new and amended contracts Lead and mentor a team of senior accountants, providing technical training and professional development Contribute to continuous process improvement and standardization initiatives within the accounting organization Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Active CPA license 8+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting (Big 4 or accounting advisory strongly preferred) Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting Exceptional project management, analytical, and communication skills Preferred: Experience with M&A, purchase accounting, or technical accounting advisory Familiarity with Hyperion or similar ERP/reporting systems Exposure to public company financial reporting We’re proud to offer: Generous time‑off and flexibility to support work‑life balance Exceptional travel benefits and global exposure opportunities Comprehensive health, wellbeing, and family programs 401(k) with company match and annual performance incentives Professional development opportunities within a world‑class finance organization Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Full‑time Job function Finance, Accounting/Auditing, and General Business Industries Hospitality #J-18808-Ljbffr
