The RF/Microwave Engineer designs, tests, and verifies RF/Microwave circuits and systems in the lab. Knowledge of RF/Microwave communication techniques is required. Subsystem and amplifier design experience in S-Band, X-Band and KA Band is required.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesKnowledge of RF theory, PLLs, and general communication measurements.Experience using Genesys or a similar RF simulation tool to design and analyze RF performance.Knowledge in RF PCB design techniques.RF Design experience in S-Band, X-Band and KA Band.Board level troubleshooting or prototype PCA.RF Amplifier and circuits tuning.Ability to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly.Participate with a leading role on a focused engineering team.Support product development from conception to product delivery and production.Job AccountabilitiesDesigns, builds, tests, and troubleshoots RF systems.Executes designing, testing and unit testing of RF products.Meets with software engineers to resolve hardware/software compatibility.Meets with other departments to participate in specification, design, and test reviews.Evaluate problems to develop solutions relating to RF systems.Provides certification of RF products.Contributes to the enhancement of RF development procedure.Improves existing RF systems by analyzing and identifying areas for alteration.Manages and priorities multiple projects within design specifications and budget limitations.Interacts with all internal and external sources necessary to successfully complete assignments.Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.Adhere to company policies and standards and follow company procedures and processes.CompetenciesAnalysisAssessment/evaluationAttention to detailCommunication -- written and oral skillsConflict resolutionConsultingCreativityOrganizationKnowledge of relevant policies and proceduresProblem identification and resolutionWorks independentlyEducation And ExperienceB.S. or equivalent in on-the-job experience.Five plus years of experience in RF/Microwave Engineering preferred, however all experience levels will be considered.Salary Range$90,000 - $130,000How to applyTo apply please email a resume and cover letter to jobs@vulcanwireless.com with the position title in the subject line. #J-18808-Ljbffr
