Virginia State Compensation Board (SCB) is seeking a quality C# developer to program, maintain code, and deliver .NET solutions for our business. In this role you will design, write, and maintain C# program code for current and future projects, contribute to design and planning sessions, and formulate approaches for current coding tasks. The ideal candidate will develop high‑quality applications in C#/Angular/SQL Server, with experience in large menu‑driven business systems such as claim processing, payroll, medical, or insurance type applications, and be skilled in transferring data between screens, navigating large data sets, performing order‑entry transactions, and building new screens and reports. Job Responsibilities Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization. Creating in‑house applications using the .NET framework. Debugging and maintaining written code. Defining and organizing projects on an ongoing basis. Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects. Identifying and handling technical risks and issues. Working in a project team alongside other developers. Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization. Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members. Participating in project meetings with management and other team members. Required Skills And Experience 2 years of experience in Angular. 5 years of experience in C# programming and large menu‑driven business systems such as claim processing, payroll, medical, or insurance type applications. 3 years of experience in SQL Server and Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code. 1 year experience with .NET 3.1 or higher, T‑SQL, gRPC, and Coldfusion (nice to have).
