Advisory Risk Data Management Technical Manager - BankingAs a Manager in Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory’s Analytics practice, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside leading professionals while building your professional skills in a variety of analytical techniques and industry specialties. Our market-leading teams help clients embrace complexity to accelerate performance, disrupt through innovation, and lead in their industries.Work you’ll doThe Manager is a key hands-on leader of a team providing data and analytics solutions to our clients, and you will have following roles:Act as a team leader in engagements, providing project oversight and guidance on the direction for the team ensuring the team is aligned with client / engagement objectivesBe the main point of contact for clients, communicating progress, and insights to stakeholdersDesign and implement solutions to various data related challenges such as data architecture, data platforms, data solution implementation, data quality and data securityApply knowledge of core banking systems, tools, and technologies to develop robust and scalable solutionsIntegrate and/or pilot next-generation technologies such as cloud platforms, machine learning and Generative AI (GenAI) in designing solutions or execution of engagementsOversee technical components of data initiatives and perform technical reviews of solutions designed by the teamCoordinate with cross-functional teams internally and externally to execute engagementsDevelop strategies for utilizing analytics and visualization tools to transform raw data into actionable insights for the clientsPrepare reports for senior management that detail progress, challenges, and milestones related to projects and initiativesPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, impactful mannerThe teamDo you want to advise organizations on their information management, performance optimization, and analytics insights needs? Learn more about Deloitte’s impact on the world.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field6+ years’ experience in data architecture, data management, or data engineering3 years’ experience in the banking industryProficiency in tools in the following areas:Scripting and Programming (e.g., Python, SQL, R, Java, Scala, etc.)Big Data Tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Impala, Mahout, etc.)Data Management (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, etc.)Predictive Analytics (e.g., Python, IBM SPSS, SAS Enterprise Miner, RPL, Matl, etc.)Data Visualization (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, TIBCO-Spotfire, CliqView, SPSS, etc.)Data Mining (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, etc.)Experience in:Regulatory reporting tools such as Axiom for financial reporting in bankingCore banking systems including AFS, LoanIQ, nCINO, and OFSAAData integration and migration projects within banking environmentsData governance tools and their application in a regulatory banking contextAbility to manage large datasets and perform complex data manipulations and analysesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insightsProven track record of effective communication (written and verbal) and complex problem solving in fast paced environmentsExperience managing distributed teams across geographies and overseeing complex projectsLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field OR MBAProject Management Professional (PMP), Cloud Certification (e.g. AWS, Azure), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), or similar credentials4+ years of experience in the banking industryInformation for applicants with a need for accommodation: The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,293 to $240,488. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.#LI-OK1
