Solution ArchitectJoin to apply for the Solution Architect role at Daimler Truck Financial Services USA LLCThe Solution Architect will design and drive implementation of new IT solutions and manage service operations for existing solutions, aligning with overall IT and business strategic directions. The candidate must understand technological trends, have hands‑on experience building medium to large scale data‑management systems, and deliver solutions in alignment with enterprise strategies. The role serves as a consultant for new or existing technologies, processes, or solutions, evaluates technology standards and tools, makes rational design decisions, and communicates recommendations to business areas. The architect will work directly with IT Product and Tech Leaders for the DTFS Customer Portal and Daimler Truck Pay applications.ResponsibilitiesDefine and architect future technology landscape and roadmap; work with IT and business partners to gather requirements and translate them into design solutions.Strategize, design, and build technical solutions.Oversee and address customer issues/tickets; monitor system SLAs; perform root‑cause analysis and prevent repeat problems.Collaborate with solution architects, DBAs, IT Infrastructure, and IT Security teams to resolve incidents and implement system upgrades with minimal business impact.Provide support for audits, compliance activities, and ensure IT governance, security, and corporate policies are followed.Advocate DevOps adoption for faster, agile service delivery.Maintain transparent relationships with business partners and other IT departments; develop strong, productive relationships.Stay current on emerging frameworks and architecture; collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and application teams to identify best solutions.Develop plans and estimates, track progress, communicate status, and timely escalation of issues and risks.QualificationsBS/BA in Computer/Information Science or Information Technology.5+ years of experience developing and supporting IT applications as a solutions architect.Deep knowledge of Microservices architecture and experience implementing RESTful web services.Experience with Web services security (WS‑Security, WS‑Policy, SAML) and Java/J2EE technologies.Experience deploying services on containers (WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat) and integrating with ESBs (TIBCO, IBM, Oracle).Strong analytical skills: data collection, trend analysis, hypothesis testing, interpretation of statistical information.Experience with proof‑of‑concept, prototyping, and building reference models.Knowledge of SOA principles, design patterns, middleware, Hibernate, Axis, Ant, Maven, Angular, React, PostgresSQL.Proficiency with Microsoft Azure cloud environment for application architecture and deployment.Exceptional Candidates May HaveMaster’s degree in Information Technology.Prior consulting experience.BenefitsAnnual bonus program401(k) company contribution with company match up to 6% + non‑elective contribution 3–7% based on ageStarting at 4 weeks paid vacation; 13+ calendar holidays; 8 weeks paid parental leaveEmployee assistance program; comprehensive healthcare and wellness programsOnsite fitness (some locations)Tuition assistance; volunteer paid time off; short‑term and long‑term disability plansLocationCharlotte, NC (US) • Fort Mill, SC (US).
