Autonomy to practice within your scope, with collaborative physician support available as needed. No On Call Coverage. 1099 Independent Contractor status – Ideal for providers seeking flexibility and supplemental income. Responsibilities Provide in-person weekend care to patients in skilled nursing facilities. Manage acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with Trumen-affiliated physicians and facility staff. Perform patient assessments, update treatment plans, and review labs and diagnostics within your scope of practice. Communicate and collaborate with facility teams and Trumen physicians as needed. Document all visits and clinical decisions in the EMR. Qualifications Active Texas Nurse Practitioner license. Minimum 1 year of experience as an NP (post-acute/SNF/geriatric preferred). Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Availability of working at least 2 full weekends per month (Saturday & Sunday). Reliable transportation within the Northeast Houston area.
