Base Pay Range$100,000 – $140,000/yrLocationSeattle, WA or Vancouver, Canada (hybrid office/home)ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute global compensation strategies that align with business objectives, market trends, and pay equity goals.Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitive positioning across all regions.Design and facilitate annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, promotions, and bonus allocations.Partner with Finance to forecast compensation costs and model scenarios for strategic planning.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compensation trends and regulatory changes in all countries of operation (US, Canada, UK, Spain, Vietnam, and Latin America/Asia Pacific).Oversee global benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and leave policies.Evaluate and recommend enhancements based on employee feedback, utilization data, and market trends.Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective delivery of benefits services.Lead benefits enrollment processes and communicate offerings to employees.Ensure compliance with local, provincial/state, and federal regulations (e.g., ERISA, FLSA, CRA).Maintain accurate records, review and process PRs and invoices, and reconcile billing.Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits and compensation, providing timely, empathetic resolution.Develop and maintain FAQs, guides, and training materials to support employee understanding of programs.Oversee the HRIS platform (Workday/ADP) to support compensation, benefits, and broader HR functions.Ensure data accuracy and integrity across compensation, benefits, and performance records.Generate and analyze reports to identify trends, create slide decks for knowledge transfer, and support leadership meetings & audits.QualificationsStrong commercial awareness and understanding of global labor markets.Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, modeling).Advanced knowledge of US, Canadian, and UK benefit programs; working knowledge of benefit programs in other countries.Strong research skills to identify gaps and enhancements for global benefit programs.Excellent project management and organizational skills; high attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.Experience with HRIS platforms and data reporting.Experience with compensation modeling and benefits optimization.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in a global context.Working knowledge of US and Canadian employment laws; international experience is a plus.Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑time #J-18808-Ljbffr
