Why Hematologists Thrive Here Purposeful Practice: You’ll care for patients across a full spectrum of hematologic conditions—from leukemias and lymphomas to clotting disorders and hemophilia—balancing inpatient and outpatient work (approximately 75% outpatient / 25% inpatient) to support continuity and meaningful patient relationships. Collaborative Culture: Our multidisciplinary teams include Hem/Onc physicians, advanced practice providers, pathologists, pharmacists, and nurse navigators—united by our shared value to serve as one and deliver coordinated, comprehensive care. Integrated Excellence: Work within RRH's system of six regional cancer centers and a dedicated Hemophilia Center, all supported by advanced facilities like the Sands-Constellation Center for Critical Care, featuring private HEPA-filtrated rooms for acute hematologic care. Commitment to Growth: Contribute to teaching and mentorship for residents and fellows, participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives, and gain access to system-level resources that foster professional development and discovery. Balanced Schedule: Enjoy a schedule that promotes both impact and sustainability—with one week of call per month shared among team members, covering both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The Work You'll DoDiagnose, manage, and treat hematologic disorders including leukemia, lymphoma, anemia, hemoglobinopathies, hemophilia, thrombophilia, and other classical hematology conditions.Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and blood transfusions when clinically indicated.Develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.Partner with colleagues across specialties—Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, and more—to ensure seamless care coordination.Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and long-term management.Engage in system-wide initiatives to improve care quality, enhance access, and expand program reach.
