At Nature's Path we believe in leaving the earth better than we found it.We are currently looking for a QA Technician - Nights to join our team $2,000 Sign on BONUSAs a Quality Assurance Technician you are responsible for assuring that safe and quality foods are produced by performing all quality control tests and tasks in accordance with the Nature's Path Quality Assurance Standards.Night Shift Hours: 5:50PM-6:00AM ($1.50 night shift premium) on a Rotating 2-2-3 SchedulePay rate: $21.70-23.84A Taste of the Job:Responsible for recording test results, taking appropriate actions when production and/or quality issues arise, and maintaining an accurate log of daily activitiesChecking batch sheets to ensure that the correct formulation and material is used for the company production requirementsConducting bar line, processing and packaging CPC checks, as well as sanitation checksReporting all variances in accordance with the Problem Resolution ProtocolHolding all raw materials and finished products that fail to meet the established standards and finalize disposition on held itemsEnsuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are carried out by all employeesEnsuring all parameters are recorded with documentation during R&D runsMaintaining a safe work environment for the team, and taking necessary and proper action when a problem or safety concern arises with equipment, product, materials or personnelPerforming all quality control tests in accordance with the established standards and systems to ensure that the finished products fall within the company requirementsMaintaining accurate records and files of all quality control tests and tasksWork with other departments and management with quality issues, and be knowledgeable on Nature's Path products, texture, taste, color and ingredientsPath for Success:High School Diploma or equivalent6-12 months experience in a quality control in a food processing environment is preferredWorking knowledge of food safety and QA programs, such as HCCP, GMPs, and SPCA team approach to problem solving and implementation, as well as personal initiative and independent judgment are necessaryBasic math skills required and proficiency in Microsoft Office Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in English language, and understand directions, both verbally and writtenBenefits and Perks:$2,000 Sign On BonusHealth, Vision and Dental insurance plans, including 100% employer paid optionsVacation Time (PTO)Nature's Path Store (All products for less than $2)Free Breakfast401K Retirement Plan with company matchGrowth and Promotion Opportunities$300 Get Fit Reimbursement ProgramEmployee recognition ProgramFinancial Wellness AppNature's Path cares deeply about diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment, hiring, employment and advancement.
