Shift(s) Available: Day shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM), Tuesday and Wednesday with the possibility of more hours after training.

Requirements

  • Six months to one year experience in food preparation and in safe handling of food and equipment.
  • Ability to follow approved, standardized recipes and menus for regular and therapeutic diets.
  • Ensure that all foods are prepared to satisfaction of residents and in accordance with safe food handling practices.
  • Maintain food temperatures and time controls during storage, production, and serving according to required food safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean kitchen, and assist other duties as assigned or by Dining Service Director.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Food Handler's Permit (current or able to obtain).
  • Reliable mode of transportation for shifts assigned.
