Leading a HR Team of 16, you will be responsible for management of the Human Resources Function for all professional employees and hourly employees in Avio Aero Global Supply Chain. Avio Aero is comprised of 7 Plants across Europe and all supply chain functions covering over 4000 employees. Primary responsibilities include executive coaching, employee relations, recruiting & staffing, organizational vitality, career development, mentoring, succession planning, compensation planning, performance appraisal and organizational communications. Job Description Essential Responsibilities Partner with the business leaders to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives; develop and embed a contemporary organizational culture and leverage change acceleration techniques to assist in driving broad change Act as an organizational & simplification champion who builds organizational capabilities, reduces complexity and partners with clients to maximize team performance Strategically partner with business leaders to design and implement the most effective global organizational structures and manage transitions Provide timely, effective and direct coaching to business leaders, assisting in the development of strong, contemporary leadership skills Lead succession planning and talent development strategies for the organization, identifying critical roles and preparing potential talent and pipelines mentoring, training, etc. Provide strategic coaching to key talent in extended client group as it pertains to succession planning, career path development, and performance management Lead leadership assessment in the organization, identifying key employee strengths and development needs in order to recognize, select, retain and develop key talent Strategically lead business and HR team through critical HR operating rhythms such as Talent Review, salary planning and performance management With the support of the HR team, develop and drive strategies to attract, develop, engage and retain strong and diverse talent Provide overall leadership to the HR team, delivering appropriate coaching, mentoring and development opportunities (including exposure to HR Business Partner skills and experiences), communicating proactively, and ensuring HR team engagement & retention Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies across all the locations in scope Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Human resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, Economics, Law, related fields or equivalent experience in HR leadership roles Extended experience in Human Resources as Senior HRBP. Demonstrated success & expertise in full range of HR scope in development and application of up-to-date practice in labor relations, HR policies & formulation, recruitment & staffing, organization planning and talent development. Previous experience in a matrix and multinational environment Proven experience in leading a human resource team Fluent in English and Italian EU work permit Desired Characteristics Demonstrated ability to work in demanding/changing environments, team-oriented culture, see through complexity and ambiguity, energize/mobilize a team/client and strategically promote an inclusive/diverse workforce Experience in applying and driving results in environments that operate with lean principles Strategic mindset with strong business acumen resulting in the ability to connect dots and develop / drive HR agenda with proactive thought leadership Has ability to attract and retain talent as well as developing competencies within function. Strong Employee Relations experience Established project management skills and capable of handling multiple issues and/or projects simultaneously by documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs to completion. Excellent collaboration, influencing, project management, organizational and change agent skills Strong internal and external customer service focus, with a genuine desire to assist others Has had roles that grows breadth and depth of expertise in HR, providing professional or thought leadership. Influences policy and ensures delivery within own function, linking with other functions of the organization.
