Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our Ambulatory Oncology team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in the prevention and treatment of cancer.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and review evidence-based anticancer therapies for appropriateness and potential medication-related problems.
  • Monitor and manage anticancer therapy adverse reactions or toxicities.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to connect patients with MultiCare Specialty Pharmacy resources.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on anticancer therapy, supportive care medications, symptom management, and adherence.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for medication-related questions and precept pharmacy and medical students or residents.
Requirements
  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
  • Two years of experience as a pharmacist in an oncology setting.
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Residency (preferred).
  • BCOP certification (preferred).
