Job Overview:

As a Speech Language Pathologist at The Therapy Place, you will work with pediatric clients to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Duties:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication disorders

- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and client/family goals

- Provide therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based techniques and interventions

- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for clients

- Educate clients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills

- Document client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information accurately and timely

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

- Experience working in pediatric settings is desirable

- Proficiency in case management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively

Skills:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Empathy and patience when working with individuals with communication disorders

- Strong problem-solving abilities to develop effective treatment plans

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
