Job Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for the prevention, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various disorders related to speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing in adults. You will also provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance communication abilities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in your assigned state.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in speech pathology is preferred.
