Base pay range $175,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr Overview We’re seeking a seasoned commercial attorney to step into a full‑time, 6‑month secondment with a Fortune 500 global logistics leader (with a strong likelihood of converting to a full‑time employee role). Supporting the company’s Global Sourcing and Real Estate legal team, this role offers exposure to a dynamic international practice — spanning SaaS and technology agreements, vendor and procurement contracts, transportation deals, and commercial real estate matters. This is a great fit for a practical, business‑oriented lawyer with a global mindset and the ability to operate in a lean, high‑performing in‑house environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work across legal disciplines and time zones while collaborating directly with senior legal and business stakeholders. About the Client Our client is a Fortune 500 logistics and technology powerhouse with operations in over 100 countries. Its legal team is trusted, collaborative, and highly integrated into the business. The culture blends operational rigor with curiosity and humility — and offers the rare opportunity to support both sophisticated global sourcing initiatives and meaningful real‑estate transactions. Location: Preference for Seattle‑area offices (Bellevue, Seattle, Federal Way, Lynnwood); open to strong candidates in Atlanta or Miami Duration: 6 months with strong potential for FTE conversion Compensation: $175,000–$210,000 annualized Benefits: Healthcare, 401(k) with match, PTO, holidays, and bar dues during the secondment Responsibilities Draft, negotiate, and advise on SaaS, AI, developer, and IT vendor agreements Lead or support commercial procurement and capital project contracting Advise on transportation agreements with global air and ocean carriers Handle real estate leasing, amendments, estoppels, and construction build‑outs Provide clear, business‑centric legal guidance to internal clients Partner cross‑functionally with legal, procurement, and operations teams worldwide Qualifications JD and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 7+ years of legal practice, with deep experience in commercial technology and procurement matters Prior in‑house experience preferred; law firm experience welcomed Comfort with real‑estate transactions, or willingness to learn (experience helpful but not required) Excellent judgment, a collaborative working style, and a sense of humor Industry experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation is a plus Join Us At Tenor Legal, we’re redefining the legal services industry.
