Metro Infusion Center/Metro Infectious Disease Consultants is seeking a Full-Time Non-Clinical Research Coordinator who will be responsible for providing non-clinical support in the operations and monitoring of clinical trials. The Research Coordinator will analyze and evaluate clinical data gathered during research while ensuring compliance with protocols and overall clinical objectives. Responsibilities assigned to individuals can and will change at any time at the discretion of management or the supervisor.


Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00 pm in-person in Burr Ridge, IL


Duties:

  • Develop operational procedures to implement protocols.
  • Enter data proficiently and accurately into a data capture system for sponsors and contract research organizations to monitor.
  • Provide ready access to all experimental data for the Faculty Researcher and/or supervisor.
  • Request or acquire the equipment and supplies necessary for each project.
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain laboratory and/or field research equipment, as specified by the requirements of the study.
  • Provide all necessary regulatory documentation and maintenance for a clinical trial.
  • Assist Clinical Research Associates that are monitoring each study (on and off-site).
  • Invoice for payments associated with the clinical trial budget.
  • Maintain investigational product logs, temperature logs, and other aspects of the pharmacy binder.
  • Travel to field sites to collect and record data and/or samples when needed.
  • Ship lab samples while following regulations and protocols when needed.
  • Attend project meetings and communicate with fellow staff through email and phone calls.
  • Responsibilities assigned to individuals can and will change at any time at the discretion of management or the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proof of current vaccinations, including recommended boosters, commonly required for those working with immunocompromised patients, including measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis A & B, influenza, and COVID-19.
