Overview

Private Duty CNA with Autism Experience - Part-Time

Overview: Join our compassionate team in Bolivar, TN, as a part-time Private Duty CNA We are seeking a dedicated professional with experience in providing care to individuals with autism. This role offers the opportunity to provide one-on-one care in a home setting, allowing you to make a real difference in your patient's life.

Requirements:

* Current CNA certification valid in Tennessee
* Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities

Location: Bolivar, TN

Work Schedule:

* Friday: 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM
* Saturday: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
* Sunday: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
* Total: 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

* Responsible for assisting clients with either personal care or home management tasks
* This would include assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding and ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care related tasks
* Home Management includes tasks that include basic housekeeping, shopping and other related housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

* Minimum age requirements is 18 years
* Valid driver's license, with satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy
* Certification, if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which the aide is to provide care
* Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
* Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach
