Position – Category Assistant
Location: Versailles, KY
The Category Assistant will provide administrative and commercial support to the sales team. This position will be responsible for the implementation of resets within our assigned territory.
Position Specifics:
Starting Wage: $17.00/Hourly, depending on education and experience
Days/Hours of Work: Day shift, Monday-Friday
Location: Versailles, KY
Essential Functions:
Assist the Category Manger on piloting various levels of marketing & to develop the market share of our products in stores.
Contributes to and supports the Category Manager to achieve sales and management objectives.
Rotate and refresh stock and advertising according to set directions.
Provide exceptional customer service in conjunction with Sales team to service designated customers.
All other duties as reasonably assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
Qualified individuals for this role will possess the following characteristics:
Self-motivated with desire to work both individually and in a team environment.
Enjoys active work and moving throughout entire shift including activities such as pushing, pulling, lifting, as needed.
Desire and ability to travel by own car or truck. Business-related expenses will be reimbursed.
Customer focused mentality and strong desire to meet customer needs through product availability.
Ability to work up to 45-50 hours per week, potentially including limited weekend availability.
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Planning and organizational skills.
To be a strong communicator with excellent verbal and written capability
Team collaboration and leadership skills.
Good Problem Solving, Project management skills, Analytical skills.
Distribution and or merchandising experience.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Travel:
Some travel may be required.
