Director of Fuel Distribution Sales Pay Range $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Position Overview A leading fuel distribution and convenience retail company in Hawaii is seeking a seasoned Director of Fuel Distribution Sales to lead its statewide fuel, lubricants, and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) sales operations. This executive role is responsible for driving business growth, managing a team of sales managers, and maintaining strong relationships with commercial, government, and retail customers. The position plays a key role in shaping pricing strategy, overseeing customer programs, and identifying new market opportunities across the islands. Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of Sales Managers across fuel, lubricants, and DEF channels. Drive new business development while supporting existing customer relationships. Oversee pricing strategy, customer invoicing, and reconciliation audits. Manage quarterly market reviews, facility inspections, and sales reporting. Collaborate on real estate lease renewals and development opportunities. Support branding, promotions, and community engagement initiatives. Conduct market analysis and financial forecasting to guide strategic decisions. Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events. Skills Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Deep understanding of fuel distribution, lubricants, and DEF markets. Strategic thinking and business development acumen. Advanced financial and analytical skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools. Ability to travel frequently across Hawaii and occasionally to the mainland. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Minimum 12 years of sales and management experience. Experience in fuel, petroleum, or convenience retail industries. Proven track record of driving growth and managing complex operations.
