We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Supervisor to oversee the operations of our healthcare unit. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to manage staff effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency within the unit.

*Duties* * Supervise daily operations of the unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. * Coordinate patient care activities, including triage and assessment, to ensure timely and effective treatment. * Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in administering injections, suturing, and other medical procedures. * Monitor infection control practices within the unit to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for patients, particularly in specialized areas such as cardiac catheterization and memory care. * Ensure that all staff are trained in emergency protocols, particularly in a Level I Trauma * Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance and provide constructive feedback for professional development.

*Qualifications* * Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting is preferred. * Strong clinical skills with experience in cardiac catheterization, triage, infection control, and administering injections. * Previous Charge Nurse experience * Familiarity with procedures related to suturing and aliment management is highly desirable. * Previous experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or PICU is an advantage. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and interact with patients. * Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments. * A valid nursing license or relevant certification is required.

Pay: $43.75 - $74.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
