Nuro pursues a ML-first software stack. The ML Infra team builds scalable machine learning infrastructure and distributed training solutions to empower ML development.ResponsibilitiesResearch and develop new distributed training frameworks for large deep learning models.Optimize model training speed by improving TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and CUDA kernels.Design and implement training frameworks for reinforcement learning infrastructure.Develop tools to profile and monitor training performance across teams.Qualifications2+ years of relevant work experience or PhD with 1+ years of experience.Understanding of machine learning models and lifecycle.Strong coding skills in Python or C++.Experience building cloud-based distributed training platforms supporting data and model parallelism.Experience optimizing training performance bottlenecks.Additional InformationBase pay ranges from $138,225 to $250,800, depending on experience and location.
