Defense & Aerospace - Enhanced Capability Builder SAP Supply Chain Management Technical Lead Hybrid Remote - periodic travel to Newark, DE Must reside or be willing to relocate to TX, IL, NJ, OH, DE, MD, PA, VA, NC, GA, FL Role Overview The SAP SCM Technical Lead will own the technical architecture, development, and implementation of SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions supporting large-scale field operations. This position defines and governs end-to-end architecture for Procure-to-Pay (P2P), inventory, warehouse, logistics, and vendor management processes, leveraging SAP S/4HANA (MM, EWM, TM) and SAP Ariba, fully integrated with Finance (FI/CO), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM/PM), and industry-specific modules. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices while leading technical teams and major project initiatives. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture: Lead design and governance of SAP SCM solutions, standards, and technical roadmaps; oversee design reviews and ensure alignment with operational goals. P2P & Vendor Management: Optimize requisitioning, sourcing, purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice verification processes; manage vendor master data lifecycle. Sourcing & Contracts: Implement RFQs, contracts, and purchasing frameworks with automated workflows and compliance controls. SAP Ariba Integration: Manage integrations between S/4HANA and Ariba (SLP, Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing) using CPI/BTP, OData/SOAP, IDocs, and SFTP. Inventory & Logistics: Architect solutions for inventory, warehouse (EWM), and transportation management (TM) supporting field operations. Integration Management: Oversee integrations with EAM/PM, FI/CO, PS, GIS, and external partners (OEMs, 3PLs, eCatalogs, EDI). Leadership & Delivery: Manage internal and external technical teams; establish development standards, ensure timely project delivery, and oversee testing, release planning, and change management. Analytics & Performance: Develop dashboards to track supplier performance, spend, and contract compliance; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
