The Position

Our Construction Litigation practice group represents design professionals, contractors, and owners in complex, multi-party litigation. We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our busy team


Essential responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Fact investigation
  • Legal research
  • Draft discovery
  • Prepare pleadings
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Participate in mediations
  • Communicate with opposing counsel and clients
  • Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings


Ideal candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and in good standing with The Florida Bar
  • 2+ years of experience in complex civil litigation
  • Construction law experience preferred
  • Experience handling all phases of litigation
  • Good client relationship management skills
  • Desire to work in a professional, collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Ability to provide high quality work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent research skills
  • Experience in construction law is preferred but not required
  • Excellent academic credentials
